Chin cysts

Need some advice... I'm 32 years old and I've been diagnosed with papulopustular Rosacea a year ago.. Nothing really helped (antibiotics, metro cream, noritate, elides..) until I tried soolantra cream which cleared my forehead, nose and cheeks and almost all of my chin.

I was taking orthotricyclen since 15 years and was told to switch to Diane 35 for better results because it seemed to be more of hormonal acne...  (Since I had 1-2 small pustules on the chin only) Since 2 months, I'm having big painful cysts on my chin.. Never had this before... And having a lot of scars from those cysts...

My question is, is it possible it's the switch from tricyclen to dian35 birth control pill that caused hormonal acne or is it my papulopustular Rosacea, but limited on the chin only... I was also advised to start low doses of accutane to treat those chin cysts...  I really don't know what to do...

The trouble with any pill is that they can cause different reactions on different people. We are all different, so what works for one, does not mean it will work for another...and we all experience different side effects.

So...yes. It could be from the pill change.
To avoid scars, remember not to pop the pimples and cysts. Use a hot compress to help bring them to a head so that they pop naturally, or so that the swelling will go down.
