Circle or marking a mole

can I circle moles that I am concerned about before going to the dermatologist so it is easier to recall where they are located during my check up? I have had 4 previous melanomas all under 1.0mm depth. Typically if I have moles I am concerned about my dermatologist biopsies them right away

You can circle your moles or alternately write down the suspicious moles on a paper before going to the dermatologist. Sometimes the dermatologist may want to biopsy them especially if there is a history of melanomas.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided.
