Circular skin rash on butt and thigh

by kats67, May 03, 2006 12:00AM
I have several reddish circular rashes on my upper thigh and butt (both sides). They range in size from 1/4" to the size of a quarter. The middle is clear (no rash) on the larger ones. They itch if touched. I have tried several creams, but no luck. They feel rough or scaly. Any ideas on what they might be or how to treat them?

If they are on your thighs and not right in the groin, they are more likely to be a form of eczema than of fungus.  I suggest you try over-the-counter 1% hydrocortisone and arrange to see a doctor if the spots don't go away in 2 week.s

Best.
