Close Shave

Close Shave

I shaved with a blunt razor and shaved too close on some areas of my mustache causing razor burns.  Now I have a straight line on one side of my mustache and a spot on the other where hair didn't grow after the shaved.  Did I remove hair from those areas permanently or will they grow out of my skin eventually?  Is there permanent damage?

Thanks

Hello,

The hair cannot be removed permanently with razor and shaving.Laser treatment is the only method for permanent reduction of hair. These hair will eventually grow in the course of time. Use a mild exfoliant that contains salicylic acid daily. This will slough off old, dead surface skin that otherwise could clog up your pores and limit oxygen to the effected areas. But pls do not scrub razor-burned skin.

Use aloe vera or tea tree oil creams on the area and switch to a razor with a single-blade or wire guard for a while.

Hope it helps.Take care and pls do keep me posted on how you are doing or if you have any additional queries.
