College student... need help please!

by collegestudent16, Sep 06, 2008 10:57AM
Hey everyone

I'm a college student now, have been for two weeks.  As a suggestion from my doctor, I've been using baby powder in the "down there" along with the inside part of my thighs area to help stop any fungus growth and just basically keep it from getting moist.  I didn't baby powder for about two weeks since I got here, and now theres a rash on both sides of my thigh.  Basically, it looks like this-

Not dark, but light reddish/pink color.
A couple bumps on the outside of it
Dry peeling skin

It's not huge, but it scared me.  I can go to rite aid probably tomorrow to pick up some cortizone, or any anti fungus cream if that's what it is.  I started baby powdering again as of yesterday to see if it would clear it up.  I'm doing it about 3 times a day.

I need it to be cleared up in about a week... is this possible?  PLEASE HELP!!  What do I need to buy?  What should I do?
