Common Warts?

I have more than several warts on my left hand (1 is rather large) and they have little black dots as well.  I have had a few for quite some time (1-1.5 years). As time has passed I seem to have accumulated more (currently 13) and several of them are small and hardly noticeable, but majority of them do have a large bump to it. Other than using Compound W to treat them I have left them alone thinking they would go away on their own but I still have them, and am starting to get a few on my right hand.  I've recently read that these possible warts are related to HPV and I was checked for HPV in March and my test came back negative. Are there any factors other than HPV that causes them to appear?  Do these sound like common warts? Can I pass them to my partner's genital area if I touch him? Any over-the-counter medications I can purchase that may give better results?  Your assistance is greatly appreciated.

i had some wart on my had and they seemd to keep spreading, i had a pretty big one on my index finger for like 3 years. they finaly went away when the doctor froze them with liquid nitrogen. it hurt like hell and he did it 3 times. the third time i let him burn it a little longer than i normally would because he told me to let him know as soon as it hurt but this time i held out a little longer. i dont know if that made a difference but it just dryed up and fell of a couple of weeks later.

Sure sounds like common warts but the type of HPV is different from sexually transmitted warts.Though unlikely, moisture and deficient immunity could transmit by contact. To be sure may be a glove can be used during intimate contact.Counter salycilic preparations are good enough.
