Concern about Herpes

I had a cold sore for the first time about 16 years ago and then another this past sumer and most recently, I have one now that i first noticed on Tuesday but originally mistook for a pimple. That night, my girlfriend was over and after some kissing, she performed oral sex on me (not me on her). Since then, I've noticed one or two barely visible bumps on the head of my penis. They don't really feel like anything and I'm not sure if they're new or have always been there. They are somewhat whitwish and are about half a centemeter from one another. Is it possible that this is genital herpes? I have never had a genetal herpes outbreak and have never been tested, but I am paranoid that by kissing someone while I had a cold sore and then receiving oral sex from that person, I have spread the virus to myself. Is such a thing even possible? Am I worrying about nothing?

Hello,
From the symptoms it can be clogged pores or infected hair follicles also. Yes it is possible to transmit the herpes 1 virus during kissing and then after receiving oral sex , that virus is transmitted. Herpes simplex is most easily transmitted by direct contact with a lesion or the body fluid of an infected individual. Transmission may also occur through skin-to-skin contact during periods of asymptomatic shedding.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
