Concern about post-curettage care

I have one suspicious molluscum contagisum on my penis taken out by the family practioner using curettage and cautery to burn the area.  He didn't put any bandage after the operation.  It has been 8 days and the swelling has reduced but still present and the hole from the operation is becoming shallower with white stuff (skin?) in the hole.  I am Asian.

In the beginning I use hydrocortison 1% and iodoquinol 1% for 2 days.  But I went and see a dertamtology specialist and he change me to using mupirocin 2% and clean with hibilclens.  By the 5th day, I told him that I am worried about slow wound contraction and he told me than to keep using mupicrocin and prescribe dicloxacillin 500mg (a synthetic penicllin).  Am I doing thing correctly by keep using mupirocin 2% and the dicloxacllin and when will the exposed hole be covered by skin completely.

I'm not even sure you need the topical and oral antibiotics, because the area is likely to heal over itself over a period of weeks.  Nevertheless, you should finish off the medications you have.  If you get new mollusca, there are less aggressive ways of removing them (freezing, etc.)

Best.
