Concerned

About 6 months ago I was exposed to a girl with genital warts.  Since then I have had check ups with a urologist.  Each exam, using vinegar, magnifing glass, etc. has showed no sign of warts.  My urologist feels I am unlikely to get anything at this point.  Now, my girlfriend of the past 4 months just developed gential (genital) warts.  She is going to the gyno this week.

My concern is that we will start/keep infecting each other and never get over this?  It may not be that serious of a condition, but we just don't want to go down a road of constant reinfection.

I feel so bad that this happen to her.

What is your advice?  What is long term likely prognosis...

Both of us have had recent physicals, which showed us healthy and disease free.

Warts can be latent (quiet) for years.  It is not possible to tell whether your girlfriend got warts from you or from a previous partner.  If you have had no visible warts, there's nothing you can do and nothing you should be doing.

Best.
