Contact Dermatitis from Modal fiber

Allergies to Modal component in textiles-

There are lots of comments about people that are having a severe reaction to Modal, a fiber from beech trees (similar to rayon and tencel), whether it is in underwear, bras, panties, sheets, clothing, etc. A couple of months ago, I started getting a rash under both arms. Never had problems with contact dermatitis before, didn't think much of it, but started getting worse and worse, turned unto what looked like poison ivy, then after being treated for fungal infections, bacterial, yeast infections and nothing working like it should, it started spreading all over from my ankles to my neck. By this time it had turned into an acute allergic dermatitis that I was at my wits end to figure out. Went to derm. they gave my a super antihistamine, plus a cream like Batroban, finally seemed to be getting better. Then after all this, it's going away,I'm a happy camper (although still didn't know the cause) I wore a bra made by Gilligan and O'Malley, but
as the day wore on, the rash came back under my arms with a vengeance. The next day, I wore a different one, and it calmed down. I'm positive it's the Modal fiber that I am allergic to. Going to derm. 3/11 for re-check and see if they are hearing these reactions about this fiber. Anybody else getting these reactions?
