I am an African American female. Every since I was an adolescent
I have had a small white dot on my tricep.  In the past year or so this dot has grown almost to the size of a small pea and other small white (more so tan) dots have appeared all over my body.  As time passes the growth excellerates.  These dots...or spots are ever so slightly raised. They grow bigger my forming with other spots to make one big spot.  They dont itch or bother me.  Is this the disease that Michael Jackson professes he has,a loss of pigmentation.

Kelli:

It does not sound like vitiligo, the loss of pigment people presume that Michael Jackson has.  For one thing, vitiligo is entirely flat, not raised at all.

It may be a mild fungus of the skin, or soemthing else entirely.  It's probably treatablr and reversible.  See a doctor and take care of it, I suggest.

Best.
