Back in 2001 when I was 18 or 19 I noticed that the pubicPubic lice region above my genitals was very abnormally itchy. While in the shower, I discovered that there was a pimple in the area a couple of inches above my penisCancer - penis Curvature of the penis Penis care (uncircumcised) Penis pain. I panicked, not knowing why I would have a pimple in that region and shaved the hair around the area so that I could see it better. I then proceeded to open the pimple which had some puss inside of it and was a bit sore and later treated the area with Hydrogen Peroxide. The area above my genitals stopped itchingCauses of vaginal itching Eye burning - itching and discharge Itching Jock itch Muscle twitching Vaginal itching really altogether and after healing for about a week or so the pimple went away. From that day on I can't the region above my genitals shave and I made certain that the area was always clean I've had zero problems/occurrences since. At first I thought that this could potentially be herpes, but after researching the disease and photos of outbreaks, I'm not so sure my occurrence fit the bill. Plus my genitals would have been the region which would have come in contact orally, and there was no pimple on them or really even near them (just in the area above and below my waist). And also, since then I have had no similar outbreaks of any kind. One time I had an ingrown hair in the same area which completely freaked me out, but after squeezing the pimple a long twisted hair was removed.
I never made choices to have unprotected sex in my past. Only in two long term relationships (which occurred after this incident) did I have any unprotected sexual intercourse. And that seldom happened since the primary method of birth control for both was the use of condoms. I did however, engage in oral sex prior to this occurrence. Should I be worried, nearly seven years later about the presence of an STD in my system? Or could this simply have been a one time skin irritation? I'm a complete worrier and I'm hoping that you can put my mind at ease- I really don't know what got it going again because I had put this to rest.
