With a significant history of sexual activity, STD's have to be ruled out first. Dermatitis, a fungal infection and yes, latex allergies may be differentials. If you have used latex condoms and the rash involves the areas covered by the condom, then latex allergy is a consideration. If there are no pain, no discharge and no scaling, you may apply 1% hydrocortisone cream once daily over the area. Observe if the area responds after 2 days. If there is no response, then have the rash evaluated by your doctor.
