Cracked bleeding Hands Need Help Please

For the past 3-4 years I have been experiencing a problem with my hand on and around my fingers mostly between and on the sides of the middle index and ring finger i develop a small rash like redness.  It itches extremly sometimes if i scratch it small bumbs appear that resemble to me like very small ant bites containg clear fluid arise, my fingers then get extremly dry and crack sometimes to the point of bleeding. It is very painful.  Then they get better and i am symptom free then after a few weeks sometimes longer the process begins again.  I was prescribed hydrocortizone no luck.  Lotions don't really help. Any help would be appreciated.  I am a cook and i wash my hands frequently.  I use gloves fairly often but they are vinyl and powderless, I do not believe it to be an allergy.

It looks similar to what I have. But I took a test and it turned out to be a fungus.

I advise you to find a lab where you can test it for fungus. If not a fungus, then it's probably dyshidrotic eczema like the other person said.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
From the symptoms that you have mentioned,it can be due to dyshidrotic eczema.
Wash the areas several times with fresh water. Do not use any cosmetic products at the sites. You can apply some calamine lotion at the rash as it will help in soothing the skin. You can take some OTC oral antihistamine medications like Benadryl or Claritin and see if it helps.

For mild-moderate eczema a weak steroid may be used (e.g. hydrocortisone as dermacort), whilst more severe cases require a higher-potency steroid (e.g. clobetasol propionate, fluocinonide).

Eczema can be exacerbated by dryness of the skin. Use good quality moisturizers to prevent moisture loss from the skin.

If still the symptoms do not improve then pls get a clinical examination done by a dermatologist.Lichen nitidus has to be ruled out.

Hope it helps.Take care and pls do keep us posted on how you are doing or if you have any additional queries.Kind regards.
