Cracked knuckles

by adliberale, Jan 16, 2009 09:45PM
My four year olds knuckles are dry, red, and starting to crack and bleed on almost every knuckle. She is not over washing hands. I have been applying  Aquaphor but if you miss one application it comes right back. What can be causing this and what else can I do for her?

Does she stick her fingers in her mouth like a tot that ***** thumb?  Do you live in cold climate and is she wearing gloves/mittens?  Your skin is your first line of defense against infection so its important to get her little hands healed.  Use the stuff that works and don't miss a day .
