Hello,

Jock itch is treated with one of two types of antifungal medications — azoles or allylamines. In severe cases of jock itch, or doesn't respond to over-the-counter medicine, you may need a prescription-strength topical or oral medication. These include topical antifungals like econazole (Spectazole) or oxiconazole (Oxistat) and oral antifungals like Itraconazole (Sporanox),Fluconazole (Diflucan) or Terbinafine (Lamisil)

Triamcolone acetonide is a more potent type of triamcinolone, being about 8 times as effective as prednisone. It should not be used to treat fungal infections without consulting a dermatologist.

Hope it helps.Take care and pls do keep me posted on how you are doing.Kind regards.
