Cryo Scars

I had Cryo done on some warts on the shaft of my penis about a year ago.  Well the Cryo worked on the warts, but it left a scar so it really didn't change much visually.  I have olive skin and my genitals are even darker but the scar is just that much more dark than my penis.  Hopefully you can see my concern.  The doc said it would go away in a couple of months, that was a year ago.  I need help, it isn't going to leave on its own and it is extremely damaging to my self esteem.  At this point i will try anything.
