Cut/ sore at the begining of the Frenulum

by SomeDilf, Aug 14, 2008 04:23PM
Last Thursday I awoke with a stinging pain on the frenulum of my penis, I tried to research it online and I kept coming up with frenulum breve as a possible answer seeing as when I was younger I tore my frenulum and have had problems with it ever since then. My frenulum has a cut/sore right were it connects to the head of my penis and the main line of my frenulum is white and discolored. Now I awoke today to find a bump on the head of my penis the same color as the head. I had sex with not this past Friday but 2 weeks ago, the woman assured me she is clean and is concerned that I am having this problem. I did use protection but I was under the influence of alcohol and have been told, by previous girlfriends, I engage in sex while I'm asleep.

The bump is not sore, discolored or inflamed and the only pain I have is from the cut/tear/sore on my frenulum right where it attaches to the head of my penis. There is no sort of discharge or burning while I urinate, and I don't have the symptoms of gonorrhea or chlamydia

There is a Planned Parenthood in my city but I am going through a rough spot and don't have money or insurance for a doctor's visit.

Can someone please help me figure out what it may be?

Hi,

The lesion would heal spontaneously in a few days. Consult your doctor to rule out a fungal infection or contact dermatitis.

Keep the area clean and wear clothes washed in a few drops of chlorhexidine preferably and dried in the sun. Wear lose, comfortable clothes. Keep the area well moisturised.

Apply calamine lotion and some over the counter antibacterial cream on the lesions.

You could take oral antihistamine or antiallergic medications for the itching.

Avoid sweat accumulation and any friction or trauma to the site.

Consult your doctor if the lesions still persist.

Post us if you have any doubts and update us about how you are doing.

Regards.
