Cut on Penis

by islandboy401, Jul 12, 2008 10:48PM
From frequent masturbation, I seem to have gotten a small cut on my penis.  It is towards the middle of it (unerect).  I have never had sex before, and am 18 years old.  Does anyone know how long it would take for this small cut to heal?

Any help will greatly be appreciated.  Thanks.

Hi,
The penile skin is thin, so it can get injured easily. You can apply an anti-bacterial ointment containing Mupirocin on the cut and avoid any activity that can cause further injury to the affected site.

It will take about a week for it to heal provided there is no secondary bacterial infection of the wound.

Keep the groin clean and gently wipe off the cut with an anti-septic slution before you apply the ointment.
