Cut on nose won't heal and bleeds

I am a 22 year old male and have what appears to be a small cut on the out side edge of my nose that is no bigger than the tip of a pen and it is right straight forward from the face where the bottom of the nose meets the face. When this cut bleeds, it bleeds a lot and actually squirts blood out with the beat of my heart and takes about 10 minutes to get it to stop I am not really sure how it got there, but it has been there for about two months now.  I thought it had gone away because it had not bleed for about three weeks.  But then two days ago i went to blow my nose and just how you always wipe your nose off it started bleeding again.  I have tried triple antibiotic ointment and hydrogen peroxide to heal this but nothing has worked.

I don't know where to start by going to the doctor as i am uninsured and i don't want to go in and have them send me to ten different doctors.  I called a doctor to ask them about this and they said they would just clean it and bandage it.  I told them i had already done that and so they transferred me to another doctor and then that one transferred me to about 6 different doctors telling me i should be seeing a dermatologist and one said i should go the e.r. and so on...... None of them understood that i am uninsured.

Is there anything i should be doing to this or some kind of specialist i should see?

Hi,

How are you? If it has been two months since you had this wound and it has not completely healed, it is best that you have this evaluated further. Wound healing is a normal process that the body undergoes through and it usually takes a few days or so for healing to occur. Have this checked by a dermatologist for proper management.  There are many hospitals that respond to uninsured patients. Just inquire at your local government offices for referral.

Take care and keep us posted.

Hi, I wanted to ask you about the cut on your nose. Your post was last year, i was wondering if it has healed properly and what were your procedures to fix it. My boyfriend has the same problem, and we don't know what to do.

Hello all. Although I am unsure what type of wound and all your assosciated symptoms, I would like to share my experience, I am not sure if this treatment is right for you.
I have had sores inside my nostrils for months. My nasal discharge has been thick, gluggy and when it dries out it sticks quite firmly to the aggitated area. when agitated or peeled off the skin bleeds, and my nose can get completely blocked. I have been dealing with other various symptoms ( thrust, fungal skin rashes, weight gain, sugar cravings, alcohol abuse, depression) which are believed ( predominantly by the alternative medics) to be assosciated with an overgrowth of yeast in the system, known as candida albicans. I have been taking probiotics now for about 2-3 months and my nasal sores have dramatically improved. I would suggest doing some candida research, then if you think it sounds appropriate, try a GOOD probiotic. Unfortunately candida is not a named disease and effectively western medicine does not recognise or treat candida ( there are some treatments such as diflucan which treat yeast infections but as of yet not a western cure for systemic candida.)
I have been taking a brand named 3-lac, however, you may find another to be more suitable for you personally, do your due diligence before choosing a supplement though to check if it is right for you.
