Cyst on cheek

I am a 36 y/o female with a very large cyst on my cheek. I have had it drained a few times. It has been injected with Cortisone. I have had blue light treatment. I have take a month of antibiotics. Now, it is still there and will not go down. In fact, it is just getting larger. I have an appointment with a cosmetic dermatologist, but not for another six weeks. And that is just a consultation - not to have it removed, which could take another eight weeks. What can I do to keep this cyst down. Also, trying to conceive so Accutane is not an option. Help!

It can be a cyst which has got infected. Blocked sebaceous glands, swollen hair follicles and excessive testosterone production will cause cysts.

Generally no treatment is required but they become painful then it means they are infected,Then surgical excision by traditional wide excision, minimal excision, and punch biopsy excision may be required. Till that time you can apply warm compresses and some topical antibiotics cream on the cyst.
