Cystic Hygroma

I was born with a cyst on my left shoulder and was diagnosed as Cystic Hygroma. Are there any long term health concerns that I should be aware of? I am 27 years old now and have had no reoccurance nor do I have any health problems. I read that this condition is a lymphatic malformation-is there a risk of other organs being deformed as well?

Cystic hygroma is a benign congenital cyst which is not associated with anything internal.  After so many years, I have to wonder why you would ask. . .

I started wondering- since I had a cystic hygroma (a lymphatic malformation), what are the possibilities of having a malformation somewhere else? Illogical?

Not really.  It just made me wonder, because when people raise a question many years later, there is often some triggering cause for concern: a physical change, something they read or some other person told them, that type of thing.  Didn't mean to offend.

No offence taken at all. I just found out about a week ago that it was cystic hygroma. I knew I was born with a cyst but had no idea what it was. I have wondered my whole life, so I sent away for my medical transcripts from the surgery to excise the cyst and learned from that it was C.H.. At that point, my question stated above came into play.  

I also have looked at various sites on the internet about it and it sounded serious. Wasn't sure of any long term possible health concerns to be aware of.
