I have had Jock itch very bad for a long time and have used creams containing hydrocortisone and my skin

In my groin area has become very thin and damaged, so much that if I wash the area and dry the ate a the skin
Weeps and splits, how can I try and reverse this problem, is there a cream that will help .?

Was the earlier jock itch confirmed (by microscopic viewing of a scraping) to be more than just skin irritation/dryness of natural skin oils?

Switch to boxers from jockey shorts if you've not already done so (more airy, allows for dryer skin, far less likely to acquire jock itch episodes).

Apply a couple of light coatings of plain skincare lotion just after bath or shower.  It may take months or years to reverse the impact of the hydrocortisone (I agree, it needs to be stopped).

1st. stop using hydrocortisone for good. 2nd, stop masturbating for at least two weeks. 3rd buy a hyluronic acid cream from your local pharmacy. 4rth, Wash gently with a mild moisturizing washing liquid with antiseptic in it.
