Dark Brown blotches on the tops of my hands

I have recently woken up to find some dark and light brown blotches on the top of my hands. Not perfectly symmetrical nor with any particular pattern. I initially thought it was a bruise (although i couldn't feel the bruise), but then other smaller blotches appeared. Although they don't itch (why I believe they are not insect bites) or hurt in anyway, they are noticeable and unsightly. Can someone please point me in the right direction?

Hi,I am sorry to hear that! If it's really Dark Brown blotches and serious, you should ask for a doctor first to confirm, then if really worse, you can buy a Q-switch ND:YAG Laser or IPL skin care device for mole or Dark Brown blotches removal, etc. and before the machine treatment, you should stop ant medicine. It is permanent, simple, painless, bloodless, but expensive then medicine. It is true.

I don't have any major medical conditions or disorders that i am aware of. As far as I know, I am a healthy, non-smoking 28 yr old, who eats healthy and exercises regularly. I am a lean 5'11 and 190lbs.  As far as my family medical history, on my father's side there is a history of deaths due to heart attacks- which may (in my opinion) be more the result of high-fat diets and lack of exercise, than anything genetic. My father also suffers from Parkinsons. On my mother's side there is barely any history of heart attacks, but lately relatives have begun to succumb to cancer (my mother's father) late in life (70's). My mother also lives with a mild form of lupus known as "sjorgrens syndrome", but with only rare symptoms. I don't work with chemicals, and am not aware of being exposed to any chemicals on my hands or otherwise. I have been told that they blotches may be the result of citrus juices being on my hands and being exposed to the sun. But I can't remember the last time I was handling citrus of any kind while under the sun long enough to be a factor. The blotches do not itch, do not hurt, and are not elevated or swollen. If anything they resemble a scar that has freshly healed. I will be more than happy to send photos of the blotches to any email address provided. I'm afraid I'm new to this forum and am not completely familiar with how to post a photo. Please let me know if there is anything else I can do, send, or answer which would better help any of you in making a conclusive determination. Your time and opinions are more than appreciated. Cheers.

Hi,

Have you had some allergies previously?

Do you remember contacting any substances which might have caused this?

Have you had any major disorders or taken medications for these diseases in the past?

Was this area under any undue stress recently?

Did you suffer any injuries at the site recently?

Let me know some more information to understand this blotching on your hands.

All the best

Hi,

I just have a few questions:

How old are you?

How would you describe these brown blotches?

Are they flat or elevated?

How large/small are they?

Are they painful? Do they itch?

Prior to the appearance of these blotches , have you any exposure to chemicals or substances?

Does your job entail you to any direct handling of certain chemicals?
