Dark Hairs turned White

I have had a mole on the side of my neck since birth; right behind my left ear at the base of my skull. I noticed that a couple of the long dark hairs that usually grow have now turned grey; actually white as snow. I am a little worried about this, my family physician told me a long time ago when I was 8 that if anything ever changed on the mole that i should go get it looked at, but is the change of color of the hair a scare........lol.

It is very common for moles to have hair which may change coor. But if you notice any color or size and shape change in the mole then you should have a dermatologist evaluate it. You also should have it checked if it bleeds, oozes, itches, appear scaly, or become tender or painful. Otherwise it should be left as such.
