Dark spots on face

Hi,
I used to bleach my face. 1 year back I noticed darker patches on both the cheeks below the eyes(not under the eyes) near the cheekbones. I stopped using bleach since then but the spots have not gone away. I have light color skin and the color in both these areas is darker than the rest of the skin and looks really bad.
Is there a way these spots can be faded? Any topical application ? Or Is there any special facial orexfoliation treatment required ?
Any halp would be great.

Same thing happened to me. I had a black mark around my chin and I had use this bleach cream called Xtreme Brite and now my skin is peeling and it looks like it has been bleached. Yeah, I know how you feel. It *****. Why can't we have perfect skin like celebrities. Gosh!
