Deep sores on nose

about 2 weeks ago I got three sore lumps on my nose and they were itchy and sore for a few days. They started getting really dry and almost overnight turned into sores. The scabs on the two smallest ones have come off and they have started going away but there was one big one where the scab stayed on for almost two weeks.. I just knocked off by accident and as it turns out it was really deep and left 2mm deep 3 mm wide hol in my nose.... anyone have any idea what it is/was? it's kind of freaking me out ... and how can I stop it from scarring?

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
It can be due to cysts, boils, acne or herpes sores. In herpes, Pain, burning, tingling, or itching occurs at the infection site before the sores appear. Then clusters of blisters erupt which break down and scab over. So although it does not look like herpes but still this possibility needs to be ruled out.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your dermatologist. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
