Dermal Hyperpigmentation

Hi, I understand pigmentation in the dermal layer is harder to treat than in the epidermal layer and that there are not any oral medication to treat hyperpigmentation. I'm 14 years old and I have dermal pigmentation in spotty/blotchy form all over my body. Is there any thing I can try specifically to treat dermal hyperpigmentation or even natural remedies?

Hello,
For dermal hyperpigmentation, treatment with peel with carbon dioxide snow and alexandrite and ND-Yag Q-Switched laser treatment preceded by a hydroquinone-based application are effective. Please discuss these options with your dermatologist.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
