Desperation after 3 years

I am a 29 year old male living in eastern PA.  6'2" tall, 215 lbs, caucasian.  Previous health problems include icthiosis, exzema (eczema), asthma. Moderate smoker with no history of drug or alcohol use.  I presented with small pustuals on the palms of my hands, and bottoms of my feet.  Initial diagnosis was Pustular Psoriasis for which I was treated for 2 years.  Treatments included steriodal creams, ointments, and foams.  Some showed temporary effectiveness, but all stopped working within 2 weeks to 2 months of begining treatment.  After 2 years my dermatologist retired, and a new doctor was brought into the office.  After 2 more months of unsuccesfull treatment, a shaving was taken from the palm of the hand during a flare up.  Biopsy results stated spongiotic & psorisaform dermatitis.  Almost another year after trial and error, still no successfull treatment.  The most effective treatment so far, was Lotrisone wich worked very well for about 2 weeks, then symptoms began to return.  Also, I am experiancing extreme itching that is so bad, I can not sleep at night, even with sleep aids.  Is there any hope, or am I doomed to spend the rest of my life like this?

i have the exact expierence for 5 years.  they thought mecrury/lead poisoning but nothing came up in my blood. maybe you should check yours. i just recently stated UV light therapy. i will let you know if it works.
