Dime sized bump on my chest?

Dime sized bump on my chest?

I guess I put this in the right section. Anyways, this little welt-type thing just showed up out of no where last night, it was a little smaller than a dime at first but is now the exact size. I think it's growing and I don't know what to do about it. At first I thought it was a pimple, so I tried to pop it, but it just conformed to the imprint my fingers made. Then I tried stabbing it and only blood came out. I know I shouldn't have stabbed it but I hate having it there. It hurts most of the time and even more when it gets touched by my clothing or if I hug someone. I don't know what it could be, could you please help me?

Hello,
It can be a cyst, benign skin growth or a keloid. The other possibility is of viral wart. Warts are tumours or growths of the skin caused by infection with Human Papillomavirus (HPV).They are contagious when in contact with the skin of an infected person.

Exactly what it is can be confirmed only after examination and biopsy. I suggest you to get it done from a dermatologist.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
