Discoloration from itching inner-thigh, spreading?

I'm not sure what I have, but it started almost a year ago.  I don't have health insurance and I don't have the means to actually see a doctor.. at least not for long... but this is driving me nuts (literally).

I have itching fits of my inner-thighs, areas surrounding my scrotum, pelvic area, and now even the bottom of my belly, just above my pubic hair and below my bellybutton.

I've tried using goldbond. If I put it anywhere near my nuts, it sends them flailing into a frozen-over hell where they're tortured by demons for all eternity.

This is really starting to make me go crazy.  I thought I may have crabs, but I can't see them, at least with the naked eye (after rubbing with some toilet paper for example).  My inner-thighs are creeping with darkened color, possibly pigment related from itching for so long.

I really need something that's available OTC... I don't have the means to pay a doctor.  If it's needed I can try to take a picture.

Hello,
Without examination, confirmation of a diagnosis is tough but it can be Tinea cruris and tinea corporis.

Most cases of fungal infections respond to over-the-counter products, which contain any of several basic ingredients: miconazole, tolnaftate, terbinafine, ketaconazole and clotrimazole. You can consult a pharmacist and get any cream or lotion containing these ingredients. Some of them are Lamisil, Monistat derm, Mycelex, and Nizoral.

If the symptoms persist then consultation of a dermatologist will be the best.
I hope that helps.Take care and pls do keep me posted on how you are doing or if you have any additional queries. Kind regards.
