Do I get a general surgeon to excise?

Do I get a general surgeon to excise?

I am 37 and recently had a dysplastic compound nevus with marked melanocytic atypia recommending a re-excision of the site. The next available appointment with the Dermatologist is May 27th, which is almost a month away or do I have  a General Surgeon to perform the surgery?
Thanks for any advice you can give me, I am a little concerned to say the least and just wanted to see if I should wait it out or go ahead and try to get it removed by seeing a GS.

Thanks!

Hello,
A dysplastic nevus is an atypical melanocytic nevus or a mole whose appearance is different from that of common moles. It cannot be excised by a general surgeon and it is beyond his expertise.A dermatologist will be a better judge of this condition and surgery.

Hope it helps.Take care and pls do keep me posted on how you are doing or if you have any additional queries.Warm regards.
