Do I have 50+ Warts? PLEASE HELP!

I have suffered with warts since i was a child, i have had up to 3 at a time on my hands, they come and go throughout the years. I understand that warts are caused by a virus, so this all makes sence. However in the past few days i have noticed over 50+ "wart like" warts appering all over my hands. the fingers, palms, and tops, even my wrists. I called my Dr. at home (im away at college) and she said it sounds like molluscum contagiosum, however I read online that molluscum contagiosum does NOT occur on the palms. PLEASE HELP!!! i dont know what to do! these look like a ton of MINI warts, and if they get worse i think ill cry! i dont want to llok like the wicked witch!
