Does this mole look normal???

Hi there.  My daughter had this mole removed on Friday.  It was on the bottom of her foot.  No significant changes.  Has grown about 2 mm in 2 years as her foot has grown.  I am nervously awaiting the biopsy.  How does it look to you???

Can you please update on your daughters results as my niece has a very similar mole on the bottom of her foot. Sending my best wishes that results were negative!

Although chances of a melanoma are less from these symptoms but nothing can be said without a biopsy skin. Melanomas are usually >6 mm in size, with irregular borders, asymmetrical and dark in color. If the mole shows any of these characteristic features, then it needs to be evaluated.
