Does this sound like herpes?

Hey sir Im a 24 year old male. About a 3weeks ago I noticed some redness around the under part of my penis head. Their was a lesion on the right side and it was a little tender to the touch. The skin got really flaky and dry after about a week or so. Its now a litte more than 3 weeks later and the redness has actually spread up to the bottom side of the tip and it itches the rash down there is blotchy and reddn's the more I masterbate. I have had no problems urinating maybe a slight pain then it goes away. I never bled or anything where the skin was flaky but there were I guess cuts underneath the flaky skin.

The reason for my concern is that the girl I slept with before that was questionable. I met her online and the first time we met we had sex. We had sex three times all three times protected and I noticed a short while later after the third time all these symptoms. (the times we had sex were on seperate occasions) Anyway after that my glands swole up and I had a sore throat for three weeks....but I had a culture done and it turned out to be strep. So I really don't know whats going on sir I could really use your help. Im willing to accept it if its herpes but its definetly not perfered. Can u give me your best educated guess on that? Thank you!

It does not sound like herpes.  Redness is usually irritation, and that might make sense following several episodes of sex.  You should consider trying 1% hydrocortisone and seeing a doctor for proper diagnosis.

If the swollen glands were in the neck, then they were indeed probably from strep.

two yrs ago i had a small lession that looks that a papercut which was very clean but it hurt, now i have the same thing in the same spot right by the outer of the vaginal canal and it hurts but not much as the last time and this time are two they look very clean. the frist time i went to the Dr. right away and they test it by blood cus the Dr. said didnt look like herpes so the blood work was negative but now again so i went to the Dr. but am still waitting for the result now this time they did a culture and i just dont know what to think no more

I recently preformed unprotected oral sex and engaged in unprotected intercourse with my bf... directly following I noticed that he had a redspot on his penis...which he assused me was just a dry spot when I asked. Now, 3 days later, I noticed that i have 2 cancer sores on the back of my throat.  I also have been picking at this sore, (which I thought was an ingrown hair), which caused it to swell, fill with puss (like a zit), and then pop open when I squeezed it.  Today it looked healed till I ripped the scab off by accident....now it looks like an open ulcer.  Do you think that this sounds like herpes?
