I'm a 29 year old womenWomen's way, who has excesive hairloss.
Since four years ago I've noticed that I was loosing my hair more than usual. 3 years ago I went to see a dermatologist but He only told me that I needed to wash my hair dailyDaily combo Daily multiple for men 50+ Daily multiple for women Daily multiple for women 50+ Daily multiple vitamins Daily vite Daily-vite men's formula Daily-vite weight control. I've got after an appointment with an endocrinologist and he did some blood test, but he only found that some of my hormones was a littleLittle noses decongestant Little tummys bit low, so he gave me to take minovral (to controlControl Control rx the level of that hormone I guess) and i have been taking it since then for three years. The problem is that i haven't noticed any changes and I don't know what to do or which doctor to see. I know if I keep loosing my hair the way it is now by the age of 40 I could be bold!! :(
Please doctors is there any other type of test that I could take to find out what could be the cause of my hair loss?
I would go to a different endocrinologist. I went to mine in September because I was losing more hair than normalNormal saline flush. My hormones are all over the place.
Do you know what hormones were a bit low? It could be your thyroid, if it's low, causing the hair loss.
