Dry, Black, Irritating Groing Area

Hi, I am a 23 year old Male. About March of this year, I started noticng that my inner thighs and groin area was becoming very dry and a little sticky, but they were "NOT" itchy. That is why I am confused what it is. Slowly they became dark and the skin is now very different from the surrounding. Its like scaly. Recently the skin in this area has become very dark and it also tingles at times. The area has increased in size over the last 4 months. I cant take my mind of it.
  I am a little overweight and thus I wear loose clothes. I keep the area very clean. I also somtimes apply ultra healing moisturiser but i think it only helps through the day. After taking a shower it becomes the same. I also reduced the amount of detergent I use to put for washing clothes. But its just getting worse.

The area has increased in size and now I also sometimes feel the cold tingling sensation all the way to my thighs when I sit at work. Help is arreciated.

Sounds like tinea cruris ("jock itch"--fungus.)  The groin is a common area for fungi--they generally aren't catchy.  Try an over-the-counter antifungal like clotrimazole cream for 2-3 weeks.  If that fails, please consult a skin doctor.
