Dry Skin & "That Golden Glow"

Another two-in-one question. First, can overly dry skin (perhaps caused by a somewhat 'overzealous' acne treatment regimen) contribute to acne? If so, can the daily use of a noncomedogenic moisturizer ameliorate this?
Second, I've been told that moderate exposure to the sun can help clear up acne. (I recognize that 'skin cancer for acne' isn't a particularly good tradeoff, but I'm curious.) On the other hand, I've heard that sun exposure, while helpful in the short term, can contribute to more acne in the long term. Where's the truth here?

MichaelMichael:
1.  Nope, dryness doesn't cause acne.  Moisturizing won't aggravate acne either.  If it feels good, do it.
2.  People say that sun helps acne.  If so, it's probably by a)tanning the face so the pimples look less noticeable; and b)relaxing people so they pick less.  Otherwise, it doesn't help much.
ThanksThanks.
