Dry Spot on Face, Hair Loss

by tomd3187, Oct 17, 2007 07:18AM
Greetings Everyone,

I have two questions that I hope someone might have input into.

1.  I have a small ( about this size 0) area on my left cheek that is perpetually flaking. Day after day it sheds skin which is usually shaved off.  I apply lotion with block everyday which keeps it moist.  No other marks or discolorations.  I've asked my GP but he doesn't seem concerned.  I exfoliate the my face once a week and wash it daily as well as apply lotion.  Any thoughts?

2.  I have been taking Propecia and Rogaine together for several years.  Very good results as I had expected to be a Q-ball by now.  I've actually saved 85% of my hair.  I am not sure the combination is needed however and would like to stop the Rogaine but am afraid of reversing the progress I've had.  Anyone out there who has used both and then stopped the Rogaine?

Thanks.
