Dry red patch on face that wont go away

I have really dry patches of skin just under my eyes and they don't seem to heal. I moisterize after every shower, otherwise it would get redder, itchy and irritating. But what can you do? I've had them for a matter of years and am afraid they might be perminent. There must be a way to make my skin normal again.

I have something very similar around my eyes, and lips. Red itchy dry areas.I have had it for a month now. I am fit and healthy otherwise, no allergies. No such problem elsewhere. Hydrocotisone cream helps but if i stop it all comes back.
Any suggestions

Hi,

How long have you had these?
Do they itch?
Have you had similar patches on other parts of your body?
Do you have had allergies to any substances?

This may be some kind of fungal infection or sensitive to the sun. This may be best managed by visiting your doctor. Meanwhile, keep the area moist and avoid direct sunlight at the site.

Keep us posted on your condition. Let us know if you may have any other queries.

All the best
