Dry skin on inner cheeks of buttox?

I recently just got over a nightmare episode of scabies.  7 doctors all telling me it was something different (from exczema (eczema) to allergies) - horrible.  Not only until they scraped a nodule did i get a proper diagnosis.  Toward the end (near the time of my diagnosis) i noticed that the inside skin of my butt cheeks started to feel sort of glue-like and irritated.  Once i applied the scabies application it went back to normal.  The same thing happened towards the end of the following week, and i applied the second treatment chin to toe and felt better (a little) the next day.  But just 2 days later this weird skin thing is happening where the inside of my cheeks feel glue-like and irritated and actually appears to be irritated (it is darker than my normal skin in that area - almost like a ring).  Im certain that i have cured the scabies.  My question is
a) is this related to the scabies at all?
b) is this just dry skin? should i moisturize or do the OPPOSITE and dry it out with Gold Bond powder or something of the sort?

I know this is a weird question (and embarassing for me which is why i came to this site!)

No, not related to scabies.  Many people get irritation in that area, or a rash such as mild psoriasis.  I suggest you ask the dcotor who properly diagnosed your scabies to have a look and recommend treatment.  But again, this does not sound like persistence or recurrence of the scabies.
