Dry skin

by griffen1, Oct 19, 2006 12:00AM
Hello, I'm a 22 year old male searching the internet for information on MPB or AGA, and at the moment, DRY skin. I am looking for a moisturizing agent thats not oily or greasy and can be mixed with water to create a spray. I think perhaps a spray used daily in small amounts would get through my hair and onto the dry scalp providing easy relief? Keep in mind i'm trying not to use anything that would inhibit hair growth. I only shampoo every other day or else things get pretty dry and itchy :o  and moisturizing conditioners seem to be doing a good job at keeping the scalp from drying out after the ocassional nizoral 1% and more frequent neutrogina mild shampoo. (Without conditioner it seems I cant tolerate any kind of shampoo!) Thats another thing I could really use a mild shampoo without SLS or any other harsh ingredients but not really sure where to look. So what I really want to know is:

1) What can I use to spray on my scalp and skin (mostly around the face) to keep the moisture in?

2) Where can I find a gentle shampoo without harsh chemicals that dry my scalp up?

Thanks in advance for any advice!
