Dyshidrotic Eczema - forever?

Dyshidrotic Eczema - forever?

In February of 2009 I went on a trip to Boston, during which I contracted a terrible, itchy rash.  I went to two different dermatologists, who gave me two different diagnoses: scabies from one and some sort of contact dermatosis from the other.  Eventually a third dermatologist confirmed that it was in fact a scabies infection.  I treated this, but not after months and months of damage.

Since then, I have had some secondary dermatoses, which I expected after consulting the dermatologist.  I knew I would have to deal with dry and sensitive skin and probably some forms of eczema.  However for the last 2 months or so I have had moderate dyshidrotic eczema appear on my hands and the soles of my feet; I never had this before in my life 'til I had the scabies infection.

My question is...will I suffer from this forever now?  I know people that have had it their entire lives, but I just recently started showing symptoms and wanted to know that, because it just appeared that it will eventually go away or if this is something I have to live with now?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
