Eczema scars on penis

I am 23 years old and was recently treated for eczema all around the head of my penis which I had for a few years. Embarrassed by the strange bumps on my skin I neglected to seek medical attention for it just hoping it would go away eventually. I was also certain it wasn't any kind of STD because when it first appeared I hadn't had any sexual partners. When I finally went to my primary care doctor he sent me to a dermatologist who treated the condition with a cream and after a few weeks when I returned she assured me that the eczema was gone. Although itchy dryness is gone some of the protruding bumps along with a ring like scar still remains. Is there any way to treat these scars without laser treatment or will time and patience heal these scars? I suppose I could deal with these scars and the awkwardness of having to explain them to potential sexual partners but if you know of any kind of treatment your help would be greatly appreciated. I understand that the scarring may be a source of discomfort. However, at this point we could not really recommend laser therapy as we need to weigh the risks and benefits that shall entail given the procedure. If this is the case, it is best to observe the skin’s condition. The scar should improve given time. Applying a light moisturizer over the area such as light vitamin E cream may be able to help smooth the skin. Although the moisturizer is not therapeutic , it will help improve the appearance of the skin.

If your partners ask, then it is best to be honest about it.
