Embarassing question re: Scrotum

by maxwell, Apr 15, 2000 12:00AM
Rather embarassing question but here goes: I am 34 years old and I notice the skin on my scrotum is really sagging. Aside from ageing (aging) what can cause this and is there some procedure that can be done to keep them from "hanging" too much?

Regards,

MAx

Maxwell:

I am reasonably sure that you are describing normal scrotal anatomy.  Perhaps you have just begun to notice this, because of some body or sexual anxiety.  There are no creams or plastic surgical techniques for giving the scotum a better "hang."  You need, I think, reassurance that what you have is normal, and counseling to deal with the reasons why you are concerned in the first place.

It would be a shame of you let your embarrassment hamper your health and well-being.  Let this be a wake-up call.

Good luck.

Well, just thought I'd post a comment for you to tell you that even though I  have not seen that many scrotums in my life, the ones I have seen do age that way...(sorry) I would assume it is just normal, no scrotal exercises to be done, just learn to live with it and know that the rest of mankind is in the same "boat".
