Epiderm Cream

Hi I am a carer and sometimes use Epiderm cream on clients legs, I have heard that Epiderm should not be used on toe nails or in between toes, what is your opinion?

Epiderm cream is a combination of anti-fungal, anti-bacterial & anti-inflammatory drugs used to treat bacterial & fungal infections. It contains betamethasone dipropionate, a synthetic cortisone-like steroid which can be absorbed through the skin and into the bloodstream. This may cause high blood sugar, sugar in the urine, and a group of symptoms called Cushing's syndrome. It is recommended that you apply Diprolene in a thin film, exactly as prescribed by your doctor.  Avoid applying to areas with greater chances of absorption such as the face, genital area, axilla, finger/toe webs.  Do not use the medication for longer than prescribed.
