Exactly hoow long does Elidel usually take to work?

When using Elidel, a TCI, commonly used to treat eczema or dermatitis; how long should it take (using twice a day) to start seeing results? I used this for 12 consecutive days with no improvement in my skin discoloration or tenderness, & I was using it on naturally thin skin to treat what I thought was dermatitis. I have heard that it takes longer for Elidel to take effect compared to a low strength steroid cream, but exactly how long should you use it for, without noticing any improvement?

Okay... so are you saying that it was completely safe to use Elidel for 12 straight days without seeing any improvement, I mean it couldn't have done me any harm correct?

Hello,
According to studies, Elidel takes around 30-45 for dermatitis to subside and erythema to decrease.
It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
