Extremely bad rash

One morning I woke up scratching my neck & I couldn't stop. Then the itching went away. I started getting a rash instantly on the back of my neck. Just kind of bumpy but extremely red. No itching anymore. Within a couple of hours it spread across my stomach. It wasn't as red, but it was just tiny bumps. It looked like I had goosebumps. It was the same with my back, also the same for the front of my neck. The next day it was worse, it started spreading on the inside of my arms. Then it got to the outer part of my Arms. Just red dots. Not that bumpy. I hardly had any itching. Then the next day which is today it's worse. On the upper parts of my arms it's extremely red and bumpy, kinda splotchy. It's very hot and it burns. It's extremely red on my elbows and very hot. I also think I'm starting to get blisters on my elbows. Nothing itches that much just burns and stings and it's hard for me to straighten my arms my knees are red too and burns. There's also bumps on my legs. I've stayed in cool temperatures and tried creams and everything. Nothing is helping. It's getting worse.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
Such a rash can be due to viral rashes or hives. Hives (medically known as urticaria) are red, itchy, raised areas of skin that appear in varying shapes and sizes. They have a tendency to change size rapidly and to move around, disappearing in one place and reappearing in other places, often in a matter of hours.

Many cases of hives are "idiopathic," meaning no cause is known. Others may be triggered by viral infections or medications.
So check out the medications, clothes or toiletries that you are using as these may be triggering the hives.
It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
