Extremely dry spot on back of leg.

by ellie247, Nov 23, 2008 09:59PM
Hi,
I have an extremely dry spot (in the shape of a circle) on the back of my lower left leg. It does not itch unless I touch it and then as soon as I stop so does the itching, and never hurts. I first noticed it about a week ago but I usually only wear pants so I may have just not noticed it before hand, and it hasn't seemed to change any. Its about the size as the circle you can make with your thumb and pointer finger.
I am a vegetarian if that could be related at all and I have gotten much smaller dry spots on my arms (smaller than a penny) about twice before since I became a vegetarian (when I was 7).
It doesn't seem to have a color or have anything else unusual but its kind of hard to get a close look at.
I'm sure its nothing but well, I have really bad luck and my family has all sorts of random health problems all over the place and I just wanted to make sure.
Also, I heard that syphilis has painless rashes as part one of the stages and can be generally hard to notice in some cases. So, just in case.. I have only been sexually active with one guy but he had slept with previous girlfriends before me. He always wore a condom when he was with me and I only had oral sex with him once without one and it was very, very brief. (and he did not climax)
Like I said, I may sound ridiculous but I just want to make sure that I shouldn't be worried.
Thanks :)
