fungicides will help you in solving this ailment.
I think you should consult a Dermatologist, and discuss regarding further line of management.
Hope this helps you.
Keep me informed regarding further development.
Happy holidays to you and your family
It seems that I went to a barber and dirty clippers have caused me to devolp a fungus, I have tried all types of shampoos, and lamisil. It seems now to be spreading through out my head
. What can I do to get rid of this. I have never had anything like this before and am at my wits end!
I went to my doctor and she prescribed lamisil pills and also gave me lamisil cream but it does not seem to work very well. i try to keep my hair low so that i can properly affect this area but it is not helping much and it is very embarassing.

My boyfriend has been living with a scalp infection he received from a barber using dirty clippers, for over 3 years now! He scratches severely everyday, it bleeds and smells, puss runs from it, and seems to be spreading! It covers the majority of the back of his head so he wears a hat wherever he goes because he's so ashamed! We want to find the best Dermatologist to treat it, but dont have alot of money, so I have to make sure we get the correct diagnosis the first time around....Could anyone tell me what you possibly think this infection is? And what we could do to treat it? Will his hair ever grow back or are the hair follicles permanently damaged?
Hello,
my son is going through the same situation. We are using oil of oregano, both topically and in capulet. As well as grisefulin medicine, it's a fluid. I been told and read also that tee tree oil supposed to help. All are anti fungal. And use a shampo that contain zinc, like head and sholders. You can put the oil of oregano in the shampo. Then shake the bottle. I have seen inprovement. it's been about six month's. He still has one bump, we call it on the side of his head.Which am concerned about because blood and fluid came out last night. I was afraid to wash his hair. and will talk to his dematologist tommorrow. Good luck. I know it's not easy.

My husband has some sort of gritty funk on his head that is causing his hair to fall out. He think he got it in Kuwait. When he went back to the states for some training and got into a swimming pool it cleared up but when he went back to Kuwait he got it again. He has just come back for 2 weeks RR and was hoping it would clear up but it hasn't. I am going to get some tea tree oil and give him probiotics. Hopefully it helps him.
my friends wear this big pad on the back of his head to catch the blood that runs from his bump. He use a black ace band to hold the pad in place it has an awful smell it. Not to be funny he looks like an indain chief he had the fungs for at least 10 yrs now what shall my friend do its gettting bigger and bigger now.
